Just recieved account

I just recieved this account from one of my good friends in RL. He said he was quitting pc games so I asked for his steam account, and I gave him 15 dollars for it. However, when I try to play cs:s or cs:s beta...it says I'm kac banned and tells me to go here? He told me that he tried but they wouldn't listen. He says when he played in cal and cevo he used a cevo gui, and got a map pack that had a bad de_contra that differed with certain servers and said sv_consistency was off or something and wouldnt let him play contra even if he reinstalled it without reformatting? any way we can remove this ban and test if it was the gui or the bad map file or what? either way it's my account now and I'm not trying to be banned from every server ever...
