Kigen's Anti-Cheat

Hello all. I don't play CSS all that much, but today I went to play with a friend and I came across a server that had me banned. Eventually the ban message lead me to this website. I read the stickies and came across the BAN search, I did indeed verify that I am globally banned.

I also did a quick search of my steam id# STEAM_0:0:4346423

and found:

So I looked up the coding and it says 26 = r_drawothermodels

I realize this is from 2008 and the fact I'm bringing this up now just shows I barely touch this game. I don't know exactly what that ban means, but back in 2008 this account was compromised for a while. It's been secured by just myself ever since, new password and all.

I tracked the IP address '68.32.96.2' on http://www.ip-adress.com/ip_tracer/ and it showed the IP banned is from Tennessee. I'm from New York and always have been. An admin should be able to verify my current IP and see I'm indeed from New York.

Anyway, I understand that you say "your steam account, your responsibility" so whatever the ruling is, is fine. I just think it's crap if this 2 year old ban from a time my account was used by some idiot will keep effecting me. Thanks in advance for taking time out to read this.

Your account is your responsibility because I cannot verify your claim of being hijacked. For all I know you went to TN or gave the account to someone.

Sorry, but this ban is valid and will remain permanently.
