Kigen's Anti-Cheat

Hey, I just came back to the game after maybe a couple years. I've been trying to play pubs, but in a decent amount, I can't because of a KAC ban. I don't remember ever using hacks in source, I did a couple times in 1.5 and 1.6. Regardless, I haven't used my steam account in like a long time. I did have a room mate for a while who played games on my desktop while I was at school, but it doesn't sound like something he'd have done either.

Anyway, if you can/want, I'd appreciate being able to use like half of the random pub servers. If not, that's cool too.
