Why was I banned?

I guess I got banned quite a time ago, and did not know I could contest it. I can't remember why I was banned, as it was such a time ago.
I would also like to contest it.

You were banned for cheating. This KAC ban is irreversible. You'll have to get a new Steam account to play in KAC protected servers.
