Garrys Mod KAC - Creates convars on client? What! (False)

I have a custom version with custom convars on my anti-cheat. I have 2 garry's mod servers with the custom AC on them. one works PERFECTLY fine. The other not soo much. Same versions.


On My other server, I dont have the convar installed, but when I join the server, it generates a false positive, and makes the convar on me for some reason. Why is this? Then I get banned of course...

Logs would be helpful in determining if there is a problem. Just remove the Steam ID and IPs from the logs before hand.

It appears the AH_ChatSpammer Convar violations are bad. ... I wonder why.

The log appears to show that there are no errors.

ah_chatspammer apparently exists as a command on the clients that KAC caught.

Also, I suggest you use kac_addcvar instead of modifying the source code.

Why? Does it really matter?
I believe its much easier modifying the source :0

I even got banned for this, but I didn't have it at all. I checked in console and all the commands that where on the source, where created on my client.

Now its bugging out since the gmod update on all servers... :/
Keeps creating convars on the client for some odd reason.

I wouldn't know why GMod is doing this.

You'd need to gain support from the GMod developers in explaining why this is happening.

Its disabled for now, I believe it just keeps going on and off of compatibility with the client.
