I've noticed in the past that I was banned from something named Kigen's Anti Cheat when I tried to join a CS:S server outside the one I usually play on, but disregarded it as being insignificant, due to the amount of servers not using this plugin, I just went elsewhere and didn't pay it much heed.

Though now that the CS:S beta has rolled around, I fancied myself a play and couldn't join the two semi-populated servers because they are both running this plugin.

I do not know how/when/what for I got banned, seeing as I rarely play CS:S outside my "home" server.

I looked at the bancheck thing, and all it told me that I am, in fact, on the banlist.

Help?

It is as it says, you were using the unconnected exploit (i.e, setinfo name ""). This prompted the ban back then. However, policy had changed since then in regards to the name exploit. Now KAC simply prevents you from joining a server if your name is nothing (i.e., "").

Anyhow, as stated, policy changed, you will be unbanned.

p.s., Please note it will take about 4 hours from the last time you tried to join those servers for you to be unbanned from them.
