In light of the recent announcement from VALVe in regards to a massive CS:S update I will not be making any more updates to the 1.2.x branch of KAC. That is unless critical bugs or exploits with either KAC of the current version of CS:S are found.

Agreed this certainly changes things with Counter-Strike Source moving to the orange box.
Some good some bad.
Is it working off the orange box engine now.
It is on the exact same engine that TF2 and DOD:S are currently on.

As long as game play doesn't change I don't mind. The main thing is I want them to fix the exploits and crashes in the engine that have been around for years like the rcon crash.
Re: Hold on 1.2.x development
Is there anyway you can block lua scripting for the current cs:s? That would be extremely appreciated. I was thinking like getting the users print_plugins or something and if it reads any 3rd party plugins AT ALL it blocks them from joining, kicks them, or bans them.

I'm sure Kigen will look into that or find another way to block the exploits themselves.riot wrote:Anyone?

I will now be releasing bug fix updates shortly. Feature improvements will still be on hold.
