Some questions.

Post by Pxel »

I’ve got few questions regarding the way KAC works.

 First, is it possible to get KAC banned for no reason at all?
 Second, what dose “KAC: Eye Angles Violation” means?
 Third, what’s the point of having this anti-cheat implemented on the server if it doesn’t upload ID’s to global ban list? And then how am I suppose to protest if KAC banned me but I'm not on the global list, and I know I don't use any cheats? :x

1. You only get banned for listed violations. Clans are able add their own though.

2. Picks up large angles of player movement which are out of actual eye range.

3. Only trusted servers can upload to the KAC Global server. All others are local on the servers. You protest to the actual server you are banned from locally.

I don't understand this point. Does it mean that you can get BAN for "making large angles" when bhoping?

What it does is test for impossible eye angles coming from clients.
By default a client will never send eye angles past 90 and -90 degrees on the X or Z axis.
Cheats however disable this behavior for a multitude of cheat features.

Eye Angle violation can come from a variety of cheat features.
  • No Spread/Recoil
    Anti-Aim
    Aimbot

etc can all trigger a Eye Angles violation.

Apparently, this “KAC” doesn’t work properly as it banned me for Eye Angles Violation while I don’t use any sort of cheats. I hope u’ll be able to get logs from “impact” and fix your anti-cheat. Hopefully then it won’t detect cheats on “clean” players.

Unfortunately, I only speak English. If you are certain that it is a false positive then please get one of their English speaking people to this forum and ask them to PM me the log of the ban.

I've just sent him a PM on his forum but he’s a hard person to talk to and probably he won’t send you the logs. If you know any CS:S server with KAC, give me it’s IP and I’ll go on that server and if I get banned again, you’ll have the logs.

Any of those server will work. I have log access to all of them.

Also, record a demo as soon as you enter the server and make sure it is recording.

Again I got banned from another serwer with Kigen's "antycheat". This time for "KAC: Command changelevel violation". I think that till you wont release a working version of your software, you sholuld addmit it's bugged and doesnt work correctly.
