If so then no it won't ban them as the alias is just a name to execute a link of commands

You have to post your steamID on the unban request/protest

Go into a server (online) and open the console (~) and type "status"

It will post a list of peoples names, connection times, steam IDs etc, find your own and copy it.

KAC flags mat_fullbright 1 as a cheat cvar and won't allow it turned on unless sv_cheats is, unlike zombie mod or other mods.

Alot of the maps that need mat_fullbright 1 don't have their own lighting when they were made in SDK

If you aren't spamming retry you shouldn't get banned unless the time between connections set by the KAC cvar is unusually high.

And HLSS shouldn't get you banned either.

Depending on the server though wait for someone with more knowledge about it.

You don't need Sourcebans to use the global ban list. The networking inside KAC makes it impossible for someone on the global list to join your server unless you disable use of it.

Can't you set KAC to not use the global ban list?
I'm sure Kigen has posted something about that before

Not as of yet, they may or may not introduce bans for it. Highly unlikely though

Yeah KAC_status in the server says everything is running

Theres no kac.log in there, does that mean KAC hasnt been triggered by anything yet?
